I was photographing a friend's wedding at a venue located on the Chester River. While the ceremony took place, the Sultana sailed by, during a Saturday cruise.
I love to go to the Black Water Refuge at day break. On this morning, the moon was just rising as I approached the entrance to the park. This was the scene there.
This photo is named "Thinking of Dad" because it was taken on a morning when I had just spent the whole night at the hospital with my dad, who was very ill. While they bathed him, I took a brief respite and drove down to the Chestertown Harbor to gather my thoughts. Although the Chester River was calm, my thoughts were not.
